hey there!! im heavenz and welcome 2 my little corner of the web!! im 17 and im totally obsessed with 3 things: the vast infinite cosmos, creating digital art, and losing myself in the beautiful complexity of code. this page is like... my soul on the internet, u know??
i spend most of my time either staring @ the stars thru my telescope (which i got 4 my bday!!!), rendering weird 3D art in Bryce 3D, or coding HTML/CSS 4 hours straight while listening 2 evanescence on repeat. theres something so deeply inspiring about the unknown vastness of space... like it makes all ur problems seem so small & insignificant. & yet ur still here, existing, creating, MEANING something.
ive always been the goth kid @ school lol. black hoodie, dark makeup, listening 2 bauhaus & the cure while everyone else was into britney spears. but i dont care what ppl think anymore. im into what i love & thats what matters. my art is dark, my code is elegant, & my dreams are written in the language of stars.

im rly into philosophy 2... like thinking about existence & consciousness & what it all means. carl sagan is my hero honestly. "the cosmos is within us. we are made of starstuff." that quote literally changed my life when i 1st read it. its like... we're all connected 2 the universe in this profound way.

ive been creating digital art 4 like 3 years now & its literally my 2nd love (after space lol). i mostly work w/ 3D renders & photo manipulation. theres something so satisfying about taking raw pixels & turning them into something beautiful & haunting.
recent projects:
a 3D rendered landscape inspired by the orion nebula. features deep purples, blues & blacks with fractal elements. took me 2 weeks 2 get the lighting right but im SO happy w/ how it turned out!!
digital collage mixing photographs of the night sky w/ dark romantic imagery. manipulated in photoshop 2 create this ethereal haunting effect. its about the beauty in darkness & the darkness in beauty.
3D abstract piece exploring loneliness & connection simultaneously. features floating geometric shapes against a starfield. one of my personal favs even if it didnt win anything lol.
my art philosophy:
i believe dark art isnt about being depressing. its about exploring the full spectrum of human emotion & experience. darkness is just as valid as light. in fact, without darkness, u cant appreciate light. my art tries 2 capture that balance... the beauty that exists in shadows, the hope that exists even in despair.

i started teaching myself 2 code when i was 14 & its been the most rewarding journey ever. theres something so pure about code... its logic, its beauty, its infinite possibility. when ur coding u enter this flow state where nothing else matters except the elegant dance of syntax & logic.
languages im learning:
- Python - my 1st love!! so elegant & readable. ive been making little scripts & working thru algorithms
- JavaScript - essential 4 web design. learning 2 make interactive pages & animations
- HTML/CSS - been building websites since i was 15. this site is hand-coded in notepad!! no WYSIWYG editors 4 me
- SQL basics - just started learning databases. its complex but fascinating
my current project is a python program that analyzes astronomical data & creates visualizations. combining my 2 passions!! im also working on redesigning this website 2 make it even more elaborate & gothic lol.
my coding philosophy:
code should be beautiful. not just functional, but BEAUTIFUL. comments r important. variable names should be meaningful. & always always always remember that code is poetry. its art that happens 2 run on computers. thats why i love making web pages... its the intersection of art & code & i think thats the most magical place 2 be.

space. THE FINAL FRONTIER. sorry lol, had 2 reference star trek there. but seriously, the universe is the most beautiful & terrifying & awe-inspiring thing that exists. we're all just tiny specks floating on a rock in an infinite void & somehow thats the most profound & wonderful realization ever.
i became obsessed w/ space when i was 8 & watched a documentary about black holes. black holes r literally holes in spacetime where gravity is so strong that not even light can escape. LIGHT CANT ESCAPE. thats the most metal thing ive ever heard. the event horizon is where all our understanding of physics breaks down & thats just... incredible.
fave celestial objects:
THE most beautiful star-forming region in our galaxy. when u look @ it thru a telescope its like witnessing creation itself. new stars being born from clouds of cosmic dust. absolutely breathtaking.
i cried the 1st time i saw saturn thru my telescope. CRIED. the rings r like... the universe showing off. composed of billions of ice particles all orbiting in perfect harmony. its geometry is breathtaking.
the closest major galaxy 2 ours. when u look @ it ur seeing light from 2 million years ago. ur literally looking back in time. & in a few billion years it'll merge w/ the milky way. the universe is SO VAST & TIME IS SO HUGE.
i have a telescope (a Celestron 8 inch dobsonian) & i go out 2 observe whenever the weather permits. portland is pretty rainy but on clear nights i drive out 2 the countryside away from light pollution. theres nothing like lying on ur back staring @ the infinite cosmos & feeling your insignificance in the best possible way.

FINALLY finished redesigning the whole site!! added new sections 4 art & code. been working on this 4 like a month lol. also added a bunch more decorations & made the color scheme even more gothic. im rlly happy w/ how it looks now!!
observed saturn last nite & it was INCREDIBLE. added pics 2 my personal collection. btw anyone know a good free image hosting site?? gonna need it 4 my art gallery section that im working on.
finished learning the basics of javascript!! so excited 2 start adding interactive elements 2 my website. also started a new art project inspired by black holes. its gonna b epic.
lol i keep saying im gonna update my guestbook links section but ive been 2 busy actually making art & coding. will do it eventually i promise!! anyway added some new badges & dividers 2 make things prettier.
recreated my entire page from scratch. spent literally 2 weeks learning new coding techniques & designing a darker more gothic aesthetic. im SO proud of how it turned out honestly.
